We would like to let you know that the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine will be launching a new NUS’ Bachelor of Science (Nursing) programme, which will enrol its pioneer batch of students in Academic Year (AY) 2006/2007. </FONT></P> <P align=justify><FONT face=Arial>2. This is the first full-time undergraduate degree programme in nursing offered by a local tertiary institution. The degree is a major step for those interested in a career in professional nursing.</FONT></P> <P align=justify><FONT face=Arial>3. Students who fulfill the necessary degree requirements will graduate with either a “B.Sc (Nursing)” or “B.Sc (Nursing) with Honours” degree. The first batch of the former is expected to graduate in 2009.</FONT></P> <P align=justify><FONT face=Arial>4. As this is a new undergraduate programme, the University administration had a prior discussion with NUS Students’ Union (NUSSU) to obtain inputs and to clarify issues on behalf of the student body.</FONT></P> <P><br></P> <P align=justify><U><B><FONT face=Arial>Enquiries</FONT></B></U></P> <P align=justify><FONT face=Arial>5.
