Advanced Digital Sciences Center (ADSC) is a university-related organization affiliated with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) established in 2009 for the conduct of research in Singapore with founding funding from the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). ADSC focuses on breakthrough innovations in information technologies supporting interactive cyber infrastructures that are expected to have a major impact in transforming human’s use of information in a data-intensive technological society.
As part of our expansion drive, we are looking for a:
DSP Engineer
West
Responsibilities: The ADSC audio team is working on the microphone-array technologies for capturing and reproducing the spatial information of a 3D audio scene. The project is collaborated with the DSP Lab@NTU for an integrated immersive 3D (i3D ) audio system. You will work closely with the ADSC team and DSP Lab@NTU team for implementing and testing multichannel audio algorithms on the commercial TI DSP development boards and refining the hardware and software for processing efficiency. A part-time master program at NTU can be recommended if you are interested.
Requirements: - Bachelor Degree in Computer/Electrical & Electronic Engineering and equivalent.
- Knowledge of Texas Instruments DSPs/FPGA, instructions sets, computer arithmetic concepts, and processor architecture concepts.
- Working knowledge of DSP/FPGA processor architectures, interfaces and peripherals.
- Good understanding in signal processing theory and techniques, especially in audio area.
- Ability to use Texas Instruments Code Composer Studio software development tools, TI BIOS, and DSP hardware debuggers.
- Good knowledge of C/C++.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
