校长寄语



来自YMCA学校的问候！我们校报的首次发行是一次尝试，用来向社会展现我们的学生。我和学校老师们都相信我们的学生有无限的潜力和天分，而我们会持续不断地帮助他们来发掘潜力。从这个观念出发，我们会开展各种活动来提高我们学生的学业成就，身心健康发展，同时培养他们的性格和领导能力。




在第一个学期，学生们参与到了每周的课外活动，学习之旅，三天团队建造营，附加补习课程，志愿者活动来支持YMCA慈善基金。这些确实鼓励了所有国际和国内学生在一起肩并肩地学习和活动，从而培养了他们的团队建造精神，协同合作观念和友谊。




我们祝愿所有的学生在即将到来的考试中一切顺利，特别是我们即将毕业参与O水准考试的学生们和正在备考AEIS的政府中学预备班的学生们。我谨代表YMCA学校所有的老师和员工感谢所有的家长，监护人，志愿者们和朋友们对学生们的支持与爱护。

Greetings from YMCA School! This inaugural issue is a humble attempt to showcase our students. My teachers and I believe that our students have hidden talents and we continually help them to uncover their talents. With this in mind, we have put in place a varied programme of activities to develop our students to excel academically, physically and spiritually as well as in their character and leadership development.




In the first semester, students participated in weekly CCAs, Learning Journeys, 3-day team-building camp, Enrichment lessons and selling flags to raise funds for YMCA. It is indeed encouraging to see both local and international students studying and playing side by side living out the lessons of team-work, co-operation and camaraderie.




We wish our students all the best in their examinations, especially our graduating students who will be taking the "O" Level exam and our Prep students who will be sitting for the AEIS exam. On behalf of the teachers and staff of YMCA School let me thank our parents, guardians, volunteers and friends for their support.
