治死身体的恶行

亲爱的弟兄姊妹们，如果你是因着你的欲望和喜好而活、如果你是依着你肉体的思维而行、如果你仍是不服从上帝的话语、不持之以恒地顺从上帝之灵的带领，那么你就仍然是活在肉体当中。保罗在罗马书8:8告诉我们，“属肉体的人，不能得神的喜欢”。“凡属基督耶稣的人，是已经把肉体（罪恶本性）、连肉体的邪情私欲（恶欲和不圣洁的情感），同钉在十字架上了。”（加拉太5:24）

并且，保罗再次提醒我们：“你们若顺从肉体（罪恶本性）活着必要死，若靠着圣灵治死身体的恶行必要活着”（罗马书8:13）。

Dear Brothers n Sisters,

If you’re living for your lust and pleasure, if you are walking by your carnal mind, if you still disobey GOD’s WORD and without the continual guidance of GOD’s SPIRIT, you are living in the flesh. And Paul told us in ROM.8:8, "those who are in the flesh cannot please GOD." "Those who are CHRIST’s have crucified the flesh (the sinful nature) with its passions and desires (lust and unholy affections) "Gal.5:24.

Again Paul told us, “If you live after the flesh (the sinful nature), you will die; but if through the SPIRT you mortify (put to death the deeds of the body , you will live)”(Rom.8:13).
