1.Permanent resident status does not exempt an individual from registration or any other conditions required under the respective professions, for which professional registration to practice in Singapore is a prerequisite (e.g. medicine,dentistry,pharmacy,architecture,law etc.)

2.Once an employment Pass (EP) holder obtained Singapore Permanent Resident status, his/her EP will be cancelled. If the EP holder has not included his/her family member(s) for PR application, the family member(s) must surrender their Dependent's Pass(es) for cancellation as required by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Work Pass Division.
