<P>You can go to any airport in China. For example if you arrive by Air China in Xiamen airport and waiting for transit to Beijing Airport. You can see for yourself how many mainland people cutting queue and yelling and forcing their way through to board plane. You compare this with Singapore Changi Airport where you see all Singaporean queue in line and quietly before boarding plane. </P></DIV>

我感觉联合早报有一点点夸大事实，不能以一小部分人的观念来总评整个中国！每个人都经历过18岁，都知道那时候比较容易冲动，所以可能会说出什么不负责任的话！但是我们要给他一个改正的机会，不是吗？我来新加坡3年了，感觉大部分新加坡人真得不错，他们很友善。和他们接触多了，能学到不少知识！但我也不排除有极小部分新加坡人的做法有些太过分。比如说，有新加坡人说过，死中国人。正所谓：狐死首丘，叶落归根。不要忘记自己的祖先来自何处！其实我们两国之间应该互相帮助，取长补短，不要因为那些极少数的极端分子，破坏两国人民的和睦相处的关系！我也希望联合早报的那位记者，自己能够好好的反思一下，自己的一篇稿子搞成如今的局面，是不是很开心呢？？

<P>刚刚花了很长时间看了每一位的留言，我在6年前拿着新加坡政府奖学金来到新加坡读中三，1年前无限惆怅中离开了这个美丽的岛国来到MIT读大学.... 最近才听说新加坡的这场激辩！</P><P>我想上面每一位网友的肺腑之言都是有自己的经历和缘由的。6年前15岁的我离开父母家庭来到一个陌生的国家，一个习俗和环境和中国大陆完全不一样的地方。当年年幼的我们也曾满腹牢骚，觉得新加坡是个徒有虚名的“小龙”，觉得本地的同学都没有自以为天之骄子的我们聪敏.... 但是5年过去了，在我真正踏出樟宜机场候机厅，登上来北美洲的新旅途时，我才发现我已经不可避免的爱上了这片土地！！新加坡是有自己的不足之处，刺耳的Singlish，对传媒的限制和严厉的法律，看上去也不是很breath－taking的市容.... 但是现在回想起来，各位既然已经来到了这里，又何不打开自己的爱国心扉，尝试着去欣赏，去感受真正的新加坡？？学会本地人的热情和正直，感受这里遍地的绿意，尝试很多原来很难吃，但习惯了又很可口的新加坡食物？？</P><P>很多网友都骂新加坡是个不怎么的地方，说什么北京有更大的购物中心，上海有更多的金融机构.... 就算这一切都是事实，新加坡本身还是有很可爱的地方。当年的我也是拼命的要“逃离”这弹丸之地，梦想来到真正发达的美利坚，现在置身此地，走遍了纽约，波士顿，费城，多伦多，才发现新加坡有着比北美洲更灿烂的阳光，更井井有条的街区，更多的绿意。</P><P>只想跟各位说一句，我们每个人的梦都是很美的！！但是更重要的是珍惜我们现在拥有的，各位能来到新加坡这个离中国几千公里的地方也是有缘，与其天天哀叹自己不能去梦想中的地方，何不好好的看看你们已经置身其中的世界上最好的城市之一？？我想到了有一天大家要离开新加坡时，我们都会是有那丝丝的眷恋吧！！</P>

<P>And does the ability to queue in a buffet line determines the superiority of a culture? And does what you had seen correlate to your other experiences in China? So far you seem to imply you have been doing a lot of travelling in Mainland China. Then, pray tell me, why do you still persist in travelling to China if that irks you so much?
